IB Math Exam

What Is the IB Math Exam

IB Math, or International Baccalaureate Mathematics, is a curriculum offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB) organization for students in high school. The IB Diploma Programme (DP) in mathematics is a rigorous, challenging program that aims to develop students’ mathematical knowledge and skills through a variety of course options. The program offers two levels of study: Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL).

The Standard Level course covers topics from algebra, functions, trigonometry, probability, and statistics, while the Higher Level course covers the same topics in greater depth and with more advanced material. Both courses culminate in an external examination, which is graded by the International Baccalaureate organization.
